At IS Cloud we are committed to ensuring your personal information is protected. This Privacy Policy describes how IS Cloud, the data controller, collects, uses and protects your information. It also describes the choices available to you regarding our use of your personal information and how you can access and update this information.

SCOPE

This Privacy Policy applies to Personal Data we obtain from and about our clients, candidates and customers and it applies to all methods of data handling (including online, offline, and through our website).

How we collect your information

The information we hold about you comes from the way you engage with us such as online through our website, via email, the post, events, sales meeting, over the telephone or through the contracts between us. We also collect information during the course of our business relationship and the recruitment process.

We may also collect details of your visits to our website including traffic data, location data, weblogs and other communications data and the resources that you access.

The type of information we hold

The information we hold includes name, resume, business address, contact telephone numbers, email addresses and details of our transaction and interactions.

How we use your information

We use your Personal Data for IS Cloud’s business purposes, including the provision of services; support related to the services provided; and, internal operations. This includes developing and implementing software, providing consulting and technology services, and intra-company communications.

We will lawfully process personal information in the following ways:

  • To fulfil the contracts between us including delivering the contracted services, raising invoices and making payments.
  • To consider resumes and applications received by applicants for jobs with IS Cloud entities, including all elements of the procedure leading up to making a decision whether to offer, subject to any appropriate background checks, the applicant a position. Some job applicant data processing may also be necessary to comply with legal obligations.
  • For the legitimate interest of providing you with information you have requested and to record the history or our interaction with you.
  • For the legitimate interest of direct marketing to inform you of our products and services and to invite you to events. We will always offer you the opportunity to opt-out of such marketing communications.

Who we will share your information with

We will not share your personal information about you with third parties without your consent unless the law requires us to. We do need to pass on some of this personal data to:

  • Our supplies and partners who are involved in delivering the service.
  • Our business, IT and marketing service providers.
  • If we or some or all of our assets are acquired by another company, including through a sale in connection with bankruptcy, we will share the information that we hold with that company. We may also buy or sell all or part of our business or the business of a third party. All or part of your Personal Data may be transferred to a new business or owner as a result of such transactions, in accordance with applicable laws, however, your Personal Data will continue to be protected by any pre-existing Privacy Statement of IS Cloud, unless you agree otherwise.
  • Occasionally we may be required by law enforcement or other public authorities as well as judicial authorities, courts or tribunals to share Personal Data with them or other parties. We will disclose Personal Data upon receipt of a court order, subpoena, warrant, or other legal process to the extent necessary to meet legal, national security, public interest, or law enforcement obligations or defend our interests in legal, administrative or other proceedings, which may require us to share Personal Data with other parties to the proceedings and their external counsel. We reserve the right to report to law enforcement agencies any activities that we in good faith believe to be unlawful.

We do not sell your Personal Data to third parties.

Storing your information

Your personal information will be stored on systems owned or operated by IS Cloud or those of our specific suppliers and will be stored inside the European Economic Area (EEA), a country approved by the EU and in India where our contract with our supplier includes the EU model clauses for data protection.

Retention

We will retain your personal information in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements.  When we no longer need your Personal Data for our purposes, we will destroy, delete or erase that Personal Data or convert it into an anonymous form. 

In the case of project or contract related information, we must retain your information for 7 years after the end of the contract.

For general business contacts we will only retain your information while we are actively engaged with you.  Where we have had no interaction with you for a period of 3 years we will delete your data.

How you can access your information

Upon request, IS Cloud will provide you with information about whether we hold, or process on behalf of a third party, any of your Personal Data. You have the right to request access to the information we hold about you. To request your personal information, please contact the Privacy Manager at privacy@iscloud.co and we will respond to your request to access within 30 days.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • object to processing of personal data that is likely to cause, or is causing, damage or distress;
  • have inaccurate personal data rectified,
  • request your information to be deleted or destroyed and if we can we will but sometimes we must maintain some records for legal reasons.

If you are not happy how we are using your information or how we have responded to your request, you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at https://ico.org.uk/.

How we will tell you about future changes to this privacy notice

This Privacy Policy is subject to change. Any changes we make to our Privacy Policy will be put on our website. Please check for updates from time to time so you are always fully aware of what information is collected and how it is used. The most current version of the Policy can always be reviewed by clicking on the “Privacy Policy” link located at the bottom of our website.

Your Choices

You may sign-up/opt-in to receive marketing campaign emails, newsletters or other communications from us. If you would like to discontinue receiving this information, you may update your email preferences by contacting us at info@iscloud.co or by using the “unsubscribe” link found in the communications or by emailing back “unsubscribe”.

Social Media Widgets

Our website includes Social Media Features, such as the Facebook Like button [and Widgets, such as the Share this button or interactive mini-programs that run on our website]. These Features may collect your IP address, which page you are visiting on our website, and may set a cookie to enable the Feature to function properly. Social Media Features and Widgets are either hosted by a third party or hosted directly on our website. Your interactions with these Features are governed by the privacy statement of the company providing it.
